The Hub - Gold Hill Baptist Church

"An exciting community resource in the heart of Chalfont St Peter"

In September 2021, Gold Hill Baptist Church opened the new Hub building in the heart of the village. It’s not just a home for the church, it’s a centre for community activity.

Chalfonts and Gerrards Cross Hospital League of Friends

During the past 60 years the League of Friends has worked to support Chalfonts and Gerrards Cross Hospital by supplementing the funding available from the NHS to ensure that Staff have the equipment and facilities needed to provide the local community with good medical and nursing services.

The closure of the in-patient services and the emphasis to keep people as close to home as possible have led to them focusing on improving out-patient facilities; including the rental of a car which enables the nurses to deliver equipment and care urgently and in all weathers.

If you are interested in supporting the League of Friends please get in touch via their contact page.

Simply Walk

Your way to better health- one step at a time.

Walking is a great way to get out and about and meet new people while improving your health and wellbeing. Simply Walkers are out in all weathers, smiling, talking and enjoying each others company.

Their volunteer-led walks run all year, with over 700 walkers who join them on one of over 80 walks across the county every week. Volunteer leaders are there to help you walk at your own pace, so there is no need to worry about being left behind, lost or feeling left out.

Most walks are weekly, but they also hold fortnightly and monthly walks at some locations. Visit their website for full details, dates and times of walks or download the list of walks.
