Faster Diagnosis Scheme for Urgent Suspected Cancer Referrals
This is a National scheme that is run to help people who are displaying symptoms, or who have had a test result, that could suggest the presence of cancer and need to be seen by a specialist as quickly as possible. There are many common conditions that these symptoms could be linked to, and most people who have an urgent referral do not have cancer.
A fast tracked referral will help to quickly exclude or diagnose any serious conditions and help you access the right treatment options as soon as possible.
Please see information sheet below for advice about this service in our local hospital trusts:

Physiotherapy Self-referral (Practice Plus Group, MSK Buckinghamshire)
Buckinghamshire patients can now self-refer for Physiotherapy assessment and treatment in the Bucks MSK Service if their primary care physician has recommended this.
Please note that this is for PHYSIOTHERAPY ONLY. If a patient needs to see a specialist clinician e.g. MSK GP or Advanced Practice Physiotherapist for a specialist assessment or injection, this still requires a GP / clinician referral. If a clinician is unsure what a patient requires, they will refer to the MSK service as normal and patients will be triaged and booked into the appropriate clinic as per the current pathway.
If a patient would like to self-refer, they can complete ‘this form’ and send it back to practiceplusgrp.music-referrals@nhs.net or post it to Unit 2, The Merlin Centre, Cressex Business Park, Lancaster Rd, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP12 3QL.
